Donderdagavond speelt het punky gipsy Dorlene Love in Tivoli de Helling, maar 's middags om 17:30 alvast een akoestisch voorproefje in de nieuwe Plato (voorstraat 35, tegenover de appie). Gratis natuurlijk, kom effe kijken! Dorlene Love (niet te verwarren met de Amerikaanse soulzangeres Darlene Love) is een gezelschap gestoorde Zweden. Ze begonnen hun carrière als drie-akkoorden-punkband, maar toen ze in een ketel met slivovitsj vielen, raakten ze besmet zijn met het Balkanvirus, zoals te horen is op hun debuutalbum Exile Deluxe (2008). Na hun daverende optreden op Lowlands 2008 beloofde de band snel terug te komen naar Nederland, en ze hebben zich aan hun woord gehouden! Heb je na afloop van Dorlene Love in Tivoli de Helling nog energie over, dan kun je gewoon doordansen op de Balkanbeats van dj Tommi.
